Leewood Day Camp is located on the grounds of the gorgeous Leewood Golf Club in Eastchester, NY. While the club has a rich tradition of golf dating back to the early 20th century, we are also a family-friendly atmosphere with many activities geared towards children. Our grounds feature a swimming pool with locker room facilities, two clay tennis courts, and a full-service outdoor snack bar. Inside our clubhouse, we have a children’s playroom, which hosts many of our arts and crafts and rainy-day activities.
Our camp program includes a variety of sports, arts and aquatic activities specifically designed to be age-appropriate for each group of campers. Our campers navigate their day by learning new skills and accomplishing meaningful goals, all while developing their curiosity and creativity. We strive to offer a fun and healthy educational experience through activities your child may not be exposed to during the school year.

Our Staff

Our staff is comprised of highly skilled and experienced leaders, teachers, instructors, coaches and counselors who have the maturity, dedication, energy and passion to create life-changing summers.
Many of our counselors grew up in Eastchester and the surrounding area, and are committed to ensuring that each camper has the best experience imaginable.
After completing our rigorous application and interview process, staff members are hired for their ability to be empathetic, patient, organized, responsible, kind and encouraging. Our staff is trained in basic emergency response, First Aid, CPR, and AED during a comprehensive pre-camp orientation. They also receive continuous training, feedback and evaluations throughout the summer.
The Leewood Day Camp staff is committed to addressing each camper’s individual needs. Counselors foster opportunities for growth and self-esteem building, while also helping to facilitate meaningful friendships between campers.
